Renewable Energy Sources

Renewable energy may be produced using several natural resources such as the wind, sun, water, geothermal springs or biomass. Energy from these sources is clean, safe and inexhaustible. The use of alternative sources is becoming part of all realistic scenarios for the support of sustainable development, and energy safety in Europe as well. In many countries, renewable energy sources form quite a significant part of their primary energy sources and thanks to the incontestable advantages of their use, they have an increasing share in the total energy production in Slovakia.
